We are offering an excellent full-time opportunity for an Adult Psychologist Psych to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, Fort Belvoir, VA

Schedule:
• Day Monday - Friday

 

The Adult Psychologist must have the following qualifications:

• Degree:
Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA approved clinical psychology internship

• Education:
Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.

Certification: 
BLS shall be renewed every two years.

• Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years within the past (5) years in the practice of clinical psychology, preferably in a Government setting such as a DoD or Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) MTF and providing clinical services to individuals, couples or groups in clinical psychotherapy services.

• Internship/Residency:
Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association

• Licensure: 
Must have and maintain a current license to practice Clinical or Counseling Psychology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the US Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services.
Due to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United State, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States
