Experience working within a university system related to policies and procedures, particularly personnel (highly preferred)
Basic understanding of University Compensation Program, rules and regulations (preferred)
Working knowledge of data entry and maintenance using on-line computer system
Computer expertise to include word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and database applications, sufficient to produce reports and correspondence, and to oversee web-site maintenance
Skill in transferring information from source documents onto forms including the ability to copy and type numbers accurately
Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow-through on assignments with minimal direction
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities/deadlines
Ability to write clearly and effectively
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members, faculty, students, and administrators
