We are hiring a Registered Nurse to work in our ICU department at Spartanburg Mary Black campus!

Full-Time Nights - Weekend Staffing Team
Works 36 hours/week (2 shifts on the weekend and 1 shift during the week
Base rate + $20/hour on weekend shifts, makes base rate for shift during the week
Night shift differential/weekend shift differential

Our Intensive Care Unit has 18 beds and utilizes the latest technology such as Omnicell, Epic, and Mindray (for vitals), allowing our team to provide the best care possible to our patients. Our Nurse-to-Patient Ratio is 1:2 or 1:3 depending upon acuity. We work with medical and surgical ICU cases, single system organ failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, CHS, COPD, etc. This team has excellent comradery and is often recognized for their superb clinical skill set.

The Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides inpatient nursing care to patients in compliance with the SC Nurse Practice Act and organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines. The RN demonstrates clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices and research in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. The RN demonstrates thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways/care maps, team dynamics, hospital systems, and serves as a resource for support associates. The RN will collaborate with leadership in developing and implementing the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s culture, Mission, Vision, and Values. Associates are encouraged to engage and support Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s involvement in the communities we serve.

Education

Graduate of an approved / accredited School of Nursing

Experience

Novice to expert nurse

License/Registration/Certifications

Current RN licensure in the State of South Carolina or Compact State
BLS – may secure certification post-hire

Preferred Experience

One Year of Recent RN experience within the past 5 years
