Pay: $63.32 - $101.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

Directs operational objectives in conjunction with the strategic plan. Oversees and supports improvement initiatives, program development, performance management, personnel decisions, staff engagement, budget, and provision of services utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and oversees departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Develops and promotes an environment of professional growth, self-improvement, and performance management.
• Oversees transplant program clinical operations. Develops and empowers management teams to lead daily operations, resolve issues, manage employee performance, manage physician relations, ensure high quality patient care and service excellence, and ensure operational efficiencies.
• Maintains knowledge of regulations with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COPs, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Bylaws and the Joint Commission standards and audit requirements, and ensures staff education, training, and competency.
• Directs and oversees program development, performance management, personnel activities, budget, and the provision of services.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree. Preferred: Master’s degree in healthcare related field or business.
• Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or other relevant clinical licensure.
• Minimum Experience: 7 years of progressive experience in highly regulated work environment. Preferred: 3 years in leadership roles. Candidates with experience in transplant operations is preferred.
