Overview

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Quality Department and play a vital role in improving healthcare services for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage quality improvement projects across the organization.
  • Coordinate with team leaders to develop tools for effective reporting of quality measures specified within clinical contracts to ensure optimum quality outcomes
  • Perform follow-up monitoring of action plans developed during FMEAs.
  • Maintain efficiency with Simplr and MSN to assist internal stakeholders with accurate and timely updates of clinical contracts and policies
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely development, updates, and revisions of quality measures associated with clinical contracts
  • Assist with efforts to ensure that the organization meets the standard of both The Joint Commision and State/CMS
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing evidence-based practices through literature searches and research to support policy development
  • Analyze data to identify trends, track performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure alignment with existing data reporting processes and facilitate accurate data sharing across service lines and departments

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in planning and report building.
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to a supportive and respectful atmosphere, promoting teamwork.
  • Ability to demonstrate robust knowledge and skills utilizing Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, follow-through and timeliness.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, work in a team and independently, and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously

Credentials

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required, preferably healthcare.
  • Demonstrated experience and high comfort level with developing reports and presentations.
  • Minimum three years' experience working with large data sets, creating dashboards and reports, and presenting insights to clinical and business audiences.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, particularly with The Joint Commission and CMS guidelines.
