Description

Join our dynamic team at UCLA as an Operations Manager! Under the direction of the Materials Management leadership, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring optimal efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee daily operations at UCLA warehouses (MOC and UCDC), including inventory management, shipping, receiving, picking/packing, and transportation of supplies to UCLA locations
  • Review operations, recommend process improvements, and develop operating strategies, plans, or procedures
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment and maintain standards in line with JACHO, FDA, DH, OSHA, and other local/national requirements
  • Supervise staff, create work schedules and assignments, and conduct performance reviews
  • Assist in the hiring process of new staff members, train, and counsel team
  • Act as a liaison between internal/external customers and vendors
  • May deliver supplies to health system facilities utilizing university vehicles
  • Support projects as needed
 
 
Salary Range: $83,800-179,400 Annually
 
Position requires to be on-call and available during off hours.
