Mid = $18.40

Summary:
The Unit Support Representative partners with team members to meet the needs of the customer and the patient care area. Performs a variety of basic clerical tasks such as answering the phone and filing. Communicates clearly and effectively through established systems, concerning relevant information with customers and co-workers (verbally, non-verbally, and in writing). Demonstrates sensitivity in dealing with the special needs of specific age groups (neonate, infant, toddler, child, adolescent, young adult and elderly) and patient population with various disabilities. Supports other departments as needed to coordinate various patient services.

Responsibilities:
Escorts surgical patients from lobby to POH.

Answers phone in POH area and relays messages as needed.

Creates paper charts for patients as needed.

Escorts family members from POH to lobby once patient is transferred to OR.

Assists staff with cleaning gurneys and rooms.

Assists with supply stocking as requested.

Other duties as assigned.
