Overview

Responsible for the optimization and progression of Value Based Care Operations, performance improvement, and operational transformation across Beebe Healthcare (#OneBeebe). This role will work with system leaders and the clinically aligned and employed medical groups to ensure that organizational and departmental strategic goals are aligned to progress initiatives around Value Based Care forward. Value based responsibilities include operational oversight of Ambulatory, Acute and Post-acute and transitions Care Coordination, Value-based contracts, performance improvement, practice transformation alignment to support the achievement of shared savings, and transitions of care.

 

This role will also work within the organization and community�s Continuum of Care to identify and bridge care gaps for Beebe Healthcare patients and community members to achieve the quintuplet aim. In partnership with Beebe Healthcare leaders, drives operational transformation to ensure achievement of value-based measures, and quintuplet aim. Aligning multiple entities to allow seamless care in a patient centered manor.

Responsibilities

�Promotes, reinforces, and sponsors Beebe Healthcare's Population Healthcare goal of the quintuplet aim:
Quality of Care
                           o Cost of Care
                           o Improvement of Community Health
                          o Improved Clinician Experience(s)
                          o Promotion of Health Equity

  • Provides program leadership in the development and deployment of resources required by any payor agreement involving quality or performance efforts.
  • Serves as an organizational representative to payers.

Oversees and reinforces process improvements and quality measures around Beebe Medical Group and aligns independent practices while working closely with Beebe Medical Center�s Finance and Quality Departments providing linkage for the organization's continuum of care.

  • Responsible for Beebe Healthcare's involvement in shared savings program including but not limited to CMS Shared Savings Program, Quality Savings program such as ACO, BPCI-A, and payor incentive programs.
  • Ongoing identification for process improvement opportunities around service, quality, and cost of care optimization to Beebe Healthcare, external partners, and patients.
  • Integral member of the value-based care contracting strategy team with responsibility of understanding terms & conditions and implementation of process(es) and quality improvements to optimize identified measures.
  • Liaison for Beebe Healthcare organization, external partners including community-based organizations to promote and reinforce Beebe Healthcare�s vision and transformation to create, optimize, and sustain alternative payment models.
  • Integral member around budgeting, financial analysis, expense management for the Population Health department.
  • Oversight of Care Coordination Programs.
  • Oversight of School Wellness Based Programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

�A minimum of 10 years combined experience in a hospital setting, health plan, or physician office/group; previous success leading process improvement programs for an organization is required.

�Data and Analytics experience in Population Health and Ambulatory Medical practices.

�Master's degree in healthcare, business or a related field required.

�Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
