Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.
Min = $86,763.34
Mid = $108,454.18
Max = $130,145.01
Summary:
The Informatics Analyst III is responsible for providing analysis, build, implementation, support, maintenance, development and coordination of activities of assigned applications and acts as a liaison between vendors, teams, customers and technical staff. Should be knowledgeable about policies, procedures, and operations in a healthcare setting. Participates in regular day-to-day communication with other project teams and works with vendors and community based Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the application build will fit the organization’s and community integration needs. Participates in the development of workflows, data collection and analysis, reporting, and other technical issues associated with the use of the application software. Participates in developing and documenting the standard build procedures that will be used in conjunction with other vendor applications.
Responsibilities:
Analysis / Build: Participates in analysis, build, testing, documentation and implementation of optimization or projects related to informatics. Proactively researches workflow optimization for team and department while effectively communicating and or documenting solutions and processes. Presents alternative solutions/options to leadership for input/approval versus looking to leadership to resolve the issue. Project Plan / Lead: Project Plan development, maintenance and adherence to expectations and cost constraints; Being a primary or secondary lead (i.e. SU; 1 or More event) AND working autonomous to Leadership prompting or reminders outside of guidance or advice to successfully complete assigned project; Completes bi-weekly leader updates in Celoxis, if assigned as the PM; Escalate and communicate issues or topics for advisement as appropriate; Work with assigned leader to revise project resources as appropriate and follow process; Completes projects on time and on budget. Maintenance: Ensure timely completion of routine maintenance for assigned applications; Serve as a lead for a recognized maintenance project or workgroup and active facilitation for problem solving of issues/concerns; Identification and training of operational staff to manage ongoing maintenance; Establish documented standard work for maintenance to include: Leadership engagement and approval, Communication/Education of Standard Work process to co-hort Analysts, Ensure a process for ongoing maintenance of documentation to keep current. Change Control / Testing: Apply subject matter expertise by verifying design documents, execute testing for new functionality, and detect defect fixes; Analyst led proactive engagement with all affected cross application analysts prior to build; inclusion in aggressive full cycle integrated testing; and strong communication to affected end users (i.e. YRMCCare; Mosaiq; Mach 7; Interfaces). Training: Ensures workflow and software changes are clearly communicated with Trainers and/or end users; Volunteer (Analyst-led suggestion) to provide Training support for a project where you are not assigned to the project; Volunteer (Analyst-led suggestion) to provide Training coverage when situation warrants or training staff shortages occur. Problem Solving / Support: Assignments are received in the form of results expected, but there is freedom to decide on the procedures to follow; Duties are highly complex. Significant independent action and judgment are required, subject to general company-wide policies; Knowledge of project management principles, practices, budgets, techniques and tools and lead projects; Occasionally responsible for assigning activities to other employees; Analyst, per QLIK statistics/Service Level Agreement statistucs (SLA) completes all tickets assigned within the following Metrics In addition to monitors, triages, escaltes and distributes team assigned tickets while mentoring junior Analysts and communicates any deficiencies with supervisor:> 92% of all Incidents completed under <10 days AND> 92% Service Desk Requests completed in under <50 days. Reporting / Dashboards / Data Extract and Exchange: Interacts with customers at all levels within the organization in determining reporting, dashboard and data extract/exchange needs and objectives; Volunteers to conduct a scheduled report refresher training; Identifies reports/dashboards which should be sunset or decommissioned and escalates to appropriate team and leaders to review via direct communication and Cherwell ticket.
