Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the planning, organization, and implementation of our advanced Invasive/Interventional Cardiac and Vascular services, alongside the EP program.
  • Oversee fiscal management, ensuring efficient budget allocation and resource utilization.
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Manage all aspects of personnel processes, from recruitment to professional development, fostering a high-performing team.
  • Communicate information effectively across all departments, ensuring seamless integration as a key member of the management team.
  • Make timely, informed decisions and adeptly manage change, adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities

Clinical Operations management.

Maintains teamwork and physician collaboration on and between units.

Works with physicians and staff to resolve conflict successfully.

Equipment and Inventory Management. Technology assessment/implementation.

Responsible for evaluation and recommendation of technology needs and assists with development/implementation of EMR as appropriate. Education - maintains a focus on continuous education and evaluation of staff needs. Keeps up with new clinical knowledge and skills. Assesses clinical nursing practice on units and assesses needs/gaps and plans appropriately to meet these needs. Regulatory and department specific accreditation requirements such as AACPVR, and Intersocietal Commission accreditations Project Management

Qualifications

Management and clinical experience in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab required. Minimum 3 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience. Clinical experience with electrophysiology preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to relate well with people of diverse backgrounds, training and experience.  Prior leadership experience highly preferred.
