The individual in this role responds to mission-critical, program and service line level data and analysis requests that span functional areas; participates in process improvement efforts (e.g. system-wide data governance – standardized definition development, data capture); co-develops dashboards, reports, data files, financial and market analysis reports and findings, as necessary and serves as the Business Planning & Development liaison to both Information Services and Marketing & Communications.

Education:

1) Bachelor’s degree in health management, business, statistics, data science, computer science/engineering, or related discipline.
2) Master's degree in health administration or business administration preferred.

Experience:

1) Minimum five years’ experience with data manipulation and visualization, research methodology, applied statistics, and/or business intelligence solutions.
2) Experience writing pro formas, business plans, etc.
3) Experience compiling complex and comprehensive financial, clinical, and/or market analyses.
4) Experience with computer programming, database management, and systems integration preferred.
5) Prior health care industry experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

1) Knowledge of business intelligence solutions and dashboard development preferred.
2) Familiarity with enterprise data warehousing, and SQL-based database engines preferred.
3) Ability to take initiative and apply effective project management skills.
4) Ability to work independently.
