JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Description
Join our cutting-edge research team in the Division of Experimental Radiation Oncology as a Laboratory Support Specialist. Under the guidance of the Principal Investigator, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our research on cancer stem cells.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct tissue cell culture, DNA cloning, and transfection.
- Perform protein and nucleic acid extraction, purification, and characterization.
- Utilize qRT-PCR, Western analysis, UV spectrometry, flow cytometry, and 2D gel electrophoresis techniques.
- Assist with animal experiments and prepare data for publication and grant proposals.
- Order supplies and equipment, maintain equipment, and ensure general lab upkeep.
- Analyze research data and contribute to scientific discoveries.

Salary: $28.88 – $46.46/hour
