Description

 

The Department of Molecular & Medical Pharmacology is hiring a Facilities Management Specialist. Under the Chief Administrative Officer’s supervision, you will manage maintenance for research, clinical, and office spaces. Responsibilities include monitoring building security and hazards, assisting with minor furniture and equipment maintenance, and submitting service requests for building needs like paint, carpet, and plumbing. You will also manage key inventory and building access, coordinate evacuation drills and disaster preparedness, and maintain emergency contact information and safety plans. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks such as equipment tracking, space inventory, and building occupancy directories. You will conduct inventory controls, manage procurement and invoices, purchase supplies, and support small-scale renovation projects. Managing the conference room system and scheduling will also be part of your duties. If you have a strong background in facilities management and a commitment to safety and efficiency, we encourage you to apply.
